HOPE TO SEE YOU ON THE GOLF COURSE!
Plans are underway for the Twelfth Annual Fall Golf Classic, hosted by Good Shepherd Communities Foundation. We are pleased to note that Sodexo Quality of Life Services has agreed to be the Tournament Sponsor for the eighth consecutive year – thank you Sodexo! This year’s tournament will be held the afternoon of Thursday, September 10th at Traditions at the Glen.
The Good Shepherd Communities Foundation Fall Golf Classic is a source of funding for programs that enhance the quality of life of senior citizens. Your support of the tournament assists the Foundation in funding senior healthcare and the Living Care Fund, which assures that Good Shepherd’s assisted living residents will never be asked to leave, even if their personal finances have been depleted. It also funds education programs, providing scholarships to our valued staff who are pursuing Licensed Practical Nursing degrees. Additionally, proceeds from the Golf Tournament support the BOCES School-to-Careers Partnership Program which offers valuable work experience opportunities for students interested in careers in healthcare. Your sponsorship and participation in our golf tournament greatly impact our ability to serve older adults in our community.
This year your support is more important than ever. The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted our budgets. Your support of the tournament will help us by funding the programs listed above. While the virus has altered all our lives and changed the way we will do things, we wish to assure you that the tournament will follow all appropriate guidelines and mandated rules. Social distancing will be practiced, there will be one cart per player, and meal service will be plated versus a buffet. There will still be great prizes, plenty of good food and drink, great camaraderie, and lots of fun on a beautiful course in the great outdoors!
Golfers can sign on for a day of fun and support a worthwhile organization at the same time. The cost per team is $450, or $135 for an individual golfer. The deadline for golf registration is September 1.
Following are the levels of sponsorship:
Gold Sponsorship: $2500 includes your company’s name and logo in the program, prominent signage prior to the first tee, listing on a sign in the lobbies at Good Shepherd Fairview and Good Shepherd Village, verbal recognition at the dinner following the tournament, four greens fees, and two carts.
Silver Sponsorship: $1750 includes your company’s name and logo in the program, prominent signage prior to the first tee, listing on a sign in the lobbies at Good Shepherd Fairview and Good Shepherd Village, verbal recognition at the dinner following the tournament, two greens fees, and one cart.
Bronze Sponsorship: $1250 includes your company’s name and logo in the program, prominent signage prior to the first tee, listing on a sign in the lobbies at Good Shepherd Fairview and Good Shepherd Village, and verbal recognition at the dinner following the tournament.
Prize Sponsorship: $500 includes your company’s name in the program and in a listing on a sign prior to the first tee.
Tee/Green Sponsorship: $200 includes a sign on the tee or green.
If you plan to be a sponsor, we ask that you make us aware of that commitment. In order for us to be able to include your sponsorship in the program booklet and on the signage, the firm deadline for your sponsorship commitment is August 1st.
