The Value of a Local Board of Directors

For nearly 150 years, we’ve been governed by a Board of Directors who are members of the community our campuses call home. They help ensure our non-profit values have always placed the issue of quality first and not profit.

As the healthcare landscape continues to change, many senior healthcare facilities now feature management and Board governance from distant communities. Their interest is not always that of the local community’s.
